This series is the brainchild of a group of local writers and community members involved in the literary arts who are committed to growing the literary community of the Greater Boston/Metro West area in a fun, informative, neighborly and inspiring way. For ten years, founding organizers Anjali Mitter Duva and Whitney Scharer ran the Arlington Author Salon. In 2025, they turned to group over to new coordinators:

Jennifer S. Brown

Alexandra Grabbe

Becca Kearns

Yelena Lembersky

Sarah Regan, Adult Services Librarian, Robbins Library

See our Upcoming Events page to add the series to your calendar!

The Arlington Author Salon takes place quarterly the first week of July, October, January, and April, with some exceptions to circumvent holidays. Annual book fair takes place in November.
